Back in 1993, a group of sales professionals from some of the most pro-active and respected independent travel agencies in the UK met to discuss the future of cruising. Aware, not only of the continuing growth in popularity of cruising in the UK, but also of the increasing competition they faced, together with customer demand for greater professionalism amongst cruise agencies, they created the Guild of Professional Cruise Agents.

An association of specialist cruise agents, dedicated to improving standards of professionalism within its membership, and to expanding consumer awareness of the quality and value of a cruise holiday, the fledgling Guild very quickly grew in Membership, attracting the attention of more and more cruise specialists, and the cruise lines themselves.

In 2001 the Guild changed its public name to The Leading Cruise Agents of the UK and we're now known best as the LCA.

In this new Millennium, with an ever wider range of cruise holidays on offer, and the construction of more than 50 new cruise ships in the next two years alone, there has never been a greater need for expert, professional, unbiased advice.

LCA members specialise in cruising, are top producing agents for many of the cruise lines and have access to the latest and lowest prices on offer. Each has first hand knowledge of a broad range of cruise ships and products, and each understands the importance of recommending the right cruise holiday to the right client.

LCA Members are only as good as their databases of satisfied clients, many of whom come back again and again for advice and assistance. Whilst delivering the most competitive prices in the market, LCA Members believe most important is the experience ... before, during and after booking ... that adds true value to the holiday experience. And because none of our independent, retail agent Members is linked to a particular cruise line, you can be sure of impartial advice at all times.
